Renewtech, a leading European supplier of refurbished IT hardware and circular IT solutions, today announces the appointment of Claudio Christensen as Chief Executive Officer, effective 18 May 2026. Christensen joins from Ahlsell Danmark, where he served as Country MD, and succeeds Bjarne Aarup Andersen, who has led Renewtech as CEO since before Trill Impact's acquisition of the business and through its subsequent rebranding and European expansion.

Under Bjarne Aarup Andersen's leadership, Renewtech grew from a Danish IT hardware specialist into a multi-country operation with presence across Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and France, serving customers in more than 80 countries. 

His focus on building a company where sustainability and commercial performance reinforce each other has shaped both the culture and the direction of the business. Claudio Christensen brings extensive experience scaling B2B distribution and technology businesses across the Nordic region and internationally.

He spent a significant part of his career at IBM before moving into senior leadership roles at Solar and several other technology and distribution companies. Most recently, as Country MD of Ahlsell Danmark, he oversaw commercial and operational growth, navigated a major ownership transition, and led an active M&A programme in the Danish market. He holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School.

A structured handover will ensure continuity for customers, partners, and employees. Following his tenure as CEO, Bjarne Aarup Andersen will join the Renewtech Board of Directors as a Member.
